Testimonials

Dear Mayra and Sergio,

I would just like to say that for both Benito and myself both eno-gastronomic tours we took were a wonderful experience filled with wonderful learning opportunities and many unforgettable experiences. I highly recommend both Bordeaux and Mendoza, and I don’t dismiss the idea of doing the Imperial Route and the Tuscan experience with you at some point as well!

All the vineyards, hotels, and restaurants we visited were excellent and your impeccable organization never missed a detail.

Thank you for everything and for allowing us to share the experience with you.
With love,

Bordeaux / Mendoza

“To celebrate our father’s 80th birthday we wanted to be sure he had the trip of his life. Places, wine, food and fun. Our friends from Chateau Travel Services made it possible.

The wines and places were out of our mind, Chateau Mouton Rosthchild, Chateau Palmer, Chateau Margaux, Chateau Pontet Canet, Chateau D’Yquem, the great champagne houses and so many more. The wine tastings and brief appreciation courses directed by the most famous wine masters during some of the visits, were also unique. Impossible to forget the marvelous dinners at the top restaurants (Michelin start rewarded) but more to remember are the lunches in the private dining rooms of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, Chateau Palmer as well as the farewell lunch at the house of Louis Roederer’s president and owner. The charm hotels where we stayed were all superb and full of history ….. Also to remember the visit to Perigord, a beautiful region with its rural farms and its very special foie gras, an experience not to be missed.
And, last but not least the companionship of Mayra and Sergio who made sure all the details were always perfect, but more than that their friendship and permanent good humor really made this two weeks the trip of our life.”

The first tour we did with Mayra and Sergio was Bordeaux!! My husband, Edgar, heard a radio interview where Mayra and Sergio shared their travel details and he immediately got excited about the idea of living that eno-gastronomic experience with them. I decided to go along with the idea, but to be honest I was not thrilled because my only tour experience before had not been very pleasant (I constantly felt like a sheep being herded from one place to another).

Let me say that from that first trip, my experience and perspective has changed radically. Going on a trip with Mayra and Sergio is a totally unique experience. Mayra and Sergio are two wonderful well-educated and cultured human beings, who are in constant pursuit of excellence. From day one you feel like family and they are always ready to listen or make a small exception, if the case warrants it. In addition, they demand the most for their clients when it comes to the quality offered in each hotel and establishment on their tour.

Another point that bothered me when I went on that first trip was the kind of people I was traveling with. Here, we became quite fond of all of our traveling companions. Everyone has his/her differences, but all the participants had one thing in common: they were educated and respectful people, who knew how to enjoy themselves appropriately. My husband’s expectations were not only met, but I can state for a fact that they were far surpassed; we have done three eno-gastronomic experiences with Mayra and Sergio ... and soon we’ll be going on our fourth !!!!

Attention to detail is the hallmark of this company responsible for bringing their customers to discover the world of wines.

We were lucky enough to organize a trip for a tiny group of 4, a tour near Bordeaux, France.

It was a demanding challenge because all four already knew the area well and were wine-connoisseurs. The trip could not have been more complete and well-organized. We will remember it forever.

We traveled with Mayra and Sergio to Bourgogne in 2007 and Bordeaux in 2009 where we also visited the wonderful City of Lights. On both trips we stayed in great hotels and inns. We visited very famous vineyards and Chateaux where we had tastings of really good wines, and dined at fine restaurants, many with Michelin stars. Needless to say that this was all in excellent company with an adequate number of other couples who we loved getting to know and socialize with.
We no doubt recommend enjoying such nice food and wine tourism, as we did.

Hello!
I'm Solange Guerrero and I have made several tours accompanying my husband who loves everything related to the world of wines: Chile, Tuscany, and Bordeaux.
I do not usually drink wine, but I've had a great time on all journeys. We stayed in beautiful hotels, visited fantastically equipped wineries, and learned about manufacturing processes. We ate at exclusive restaurants, small trattorias and bistros, walked through beautiful and breathtaking scenery and above all we have made new friends with whom we maintain contact and are preparing for future tours.
We had the best hosts: Sergio and Mayra!!!!!

I will always remember the moments in Tuscany. They were very special. It was a fantastic group, where the hosts were very special. We would love to see you again, but it will only be next year, as we're going to be the grandparents of a baby girl, Clarissa. She’ll be born in Chile next April. Sending you our greetings and always thinking of you.
A big kiss to both of you.

We traveled with Chateau Travel to the region of Bordeaux, France, in the spring of 2009. The quality of wines was unsurpassable, with tours and tastings in landmarks such as Chateau Margaux, Chateau Mouton Rothschild and Chateau Haut-Brion. The food was of very high quality in perfect harmony with the wines. We enjoyed a very high level of hosting with the small group of travelers who accompanied us to beautiful places. We still have some wine, mementos of that journey, to enjoy for several years in the future. In short: excellent service, paired with great wine and culinary knowledge. Highly recommended with great value for investment!
