Testimonials

Dear Mayra and Sergio,

I would just like to say that for both Benito and myself both eno-gastronomic tours we took were a wonderful experience filled with wonderful learning opportunities and many unforgettable experiences. I highly recommend both Bordeaux and Mendoza, and I don’t dismiss the idea of doing the Imperial Route and the Tuscan experience with you at some point as well!

All the vineyards, hotels, and restaurants we visited were excellent and your impeccable organization never missed a detail.

Thank you for everything and for allowing us to share the experience with you.
With love,

Bordeaux / Mendoza

The eno-gastronomic tours organized by Mayra & Sergio, and in which we have participated namely France, Spain, and Italy were among the most pleasant experiences we have ever had. Your organization almost reaches perfection and has allowed us to meet good friends, including yourselves. We look forward to sharing a future opportunity with Chateau Travel Services.

Our eno-gastronomic experience through Tuscany was unforgettable, filled with dream destinations: castles, valleys, and landscapes, and places that reflect artists’ expressions designed by architects who have created places that keep a special culture, the culture of Wine.

In life, everything comes at a cost, but Mayra and Sergio know that our Tuscan experience was one of the best gifts that life has given us. Two amazing people sharing and showing the beauty of life, getting to know fascinating places in excellent company and living “wine culture”, the trip is definitely expensive, but as rich.

Hello Mayra and Sergio. So nice to hear from you!!!

More than a testimony is the story of my birthday. I remember I had no idea what I would be doing that day, and while my husband and I were in the car, I heard an interview with Sergio on the radio. I immediately knew what I wanted to do for my birthday. We contacted them [Chateau Travel] right away and what happened thereafter was an experience I will never forget.

We celebrated my birthday with dinner at B&G, how special was that! Also my husband’s birthday happens to be 4 days after, so we celebrated that at Mansion Calvet. Imagine that! But more than just the sites, what really made everything wonderful was the company we were surrounded with and Chateau Travel’s attention to detail.

I will never forget Sergio even giving me bubble wrap, to wrap our precious souvenir wines, and Mayra’s sweetness, giving us all her undivided attention. The sights, restaurants, châteaux, our peers, the wines, and even our bus (which btw had a bar table inside) were truly special.

Thank you for those very happy days that made my 40th birthday truly unforgettable!!!!

We traveled with Mayra and Sergio to Bourgogne in 2007 and Bordeaux in 2009 where we also visited the wonderful City of Lights. On both trips we stayed in great hotels and inns. We visited very famous vineyards and Chateaux where we had tastings of really good wines, and dined at fine restaurants, many with Michelin stars. Needless to say that this was all in excellent company with an adequate number of other couples who we loved getting to know and socialize with.
We no doubt recommend enjoying such nice food and wine tourism, as we did.

Hello!
I'm Solange Guerrero and I have made several tours accompanying my husband who loves everything related to the world of wines: Chile, Tuscany, and Bordeaux.
I do not usually drink wine, but I've had a great time on all journeys. We stayed in beautiful hotels, visited fantastically equipped wineries, and learned about manufacturing processes. We ate at exclusive restaurants, small trattorias and bistros, walked through beautiful and breathtaking scenery and above all we have made new friends with whom we maintain contact and are preparing for future tours.
We had the best hosts: Sergio and Mayra!!!!!

In my opinion, taking a trip with Sergio and Mayra was wonderful. Two of my girlfriends and I decided to go on the trip to Tuscany, knowing that normally people travel in couples. A few days before departure, I asked them if they had realized that the trip was to taste wines and food (although we are not drinkers and we take great care of our weight). Well I'll tell you, it was spectacular! Sergio and Mayra’s planning and organization was perfect. Each hotel was better, each vineyard more interesting, each restaurant more exceptional than the last.

Our hosts Sergio and Mayra always made sure everything was as we had thought, and moreover, if we thought of something different, they did not hesitate to accommodate us, whenever possible.

In short, traveling with them means not worrying about anything because everything has already been thought of.

Thanks for being just as you are.

As someone who began enjoying this project such a long time ago, I wanted to say that I have enjoyed all the regions you have shown us.

We traveled with Chateau Travel to the region of Bordeaux, France, in the spring of 2009. The quality of wines was unsurpassable, with tours and tastings in landmarks such as Chateau Margaux, Chateau Mouton Rothschild and Chateau Haut-Brion. The food was of very high quality in perfect harmony with the wines. We enjoyed a very high level of hosting with the small group of travelers who accompanied us to beautiful places. We still have some wine, mementos of that journey, to enjoy for several years in the future. In short: excellent service, paired with great wine and culinary knowledge. Highly recommended with great value for investment!

Chateau Travel is traveling at its best!!

My husband and I taken three eno-gastronomic tours prepared by Chateau Travel, and we can say they are the best.

Mayra and Sergio have led us to the best hotels, the best restaurants and the most exclusive wineries throughout the world’s most important wine regions. They really make sure that everything is perfect, from the menu to each guests complete comfort.
In the cellars, we had the privilege of meeting the owners and many of them honored us with their presence and dined with us.

In restaurants, most with more than one Michelin star, we were given a tour of the kitchen and are able to meet some of the world’s most famous chefs in the world, and all this without having to lift a finger!

The groups are always small, so you really get to know the other couples and create friendships that last for years.

And dealing with Mayra and Sergio ...is simply spectacular! They take care of all the necessary details before, during and after the trip.

The memories of our trips with them are the best, we have done three, and we want to do more!

Simply highly recommended!

Attention to detail is the hallmark of this company responsible for bringing their customers to discover the world of wines.

We were lucky enough to organize a trip for a tiny group of 4, a tour near Bordeaux, France.

It was a demanding challenge because all four already knew the area well and were wine-connoisseurs. The trip could not have been more complete and well-organized. We will remember it forever.
